The location is certainly its crowning jewel, with easy access to Hlavná Street, lined with delightful cafes and the tranquil Singing Fountain-perfect for leisurely evenings with friends. The room itself, while quiet, had three separate beds that didn't provide the cozy intimacy one might seek on a romantic getaway. Despite these hiccups, the proximity to local attractions and a variety of restaurants, cafes, and pubs serving authentic Slovak cuisine truly enhances the experience. the hotel offers several amenities including a sauna and indoor swimming pool that I wish I'd had time to indulge in. If you're looking for a central location to explore Košice with a bustling atmosphere and local flair, Penzion Nad Bankou could still provide a worthwhile stay, just be prepared for some administrative hiccups along the way.
