The location is certainly its crowning jewel, with easy access to Hlavná Street, lined with delightful cafes and the tranquil Singing Fountain—perfect for leisurely evenings with friends. The room itself, while quiet, had three separate beds that didn’t provide the cozy intimacy one might seek on a romantic getaway. Despite these hiccups, the proximity to local attractions and a variety of restaurants, cafes, and pubs serving authentic Slovak cuisine truly enhances the experience. the hotel offers several amenities including a sauna and indoor swimming pool that I wish I’d had time to indulge in. If you’re looking for a central location to explore Košice with a bustling atmosphere and local flair, Penzion Nad Bankou could still provide a worthwhile stay, just be prepared for some administrative hiccups along the way.
